Matt serves as the Battalion Chief of Operations for Atascadero Fire and Emergency Services—managing all daily operations staffing, emergency response, training, personnel development, recruitment, fire dispatch, and more. He grew up in Atascadero, graduating from Atascadero High School, and has served the Atascadero community for over 25 years.
He loves the Lord and demonstrates a rich investment in other people. He has spent over 20 years working in the Fire Services training division—developing and equipping all levels of the fire department’s emergency operations and service delivery. He has also served as a marriage mentor (5 years), youth leader (2 years), small group leader (10 years), and Awaken Conference guest speaker (3 years) at ABC Church.
Matt has been married for almost 20 years to his wife Megan. They have two kids, Andrew (18) and Clara (15).
We are thrilled to have Matt come and share his faith and work journey with us. Come join us!
