A new era for Sunroom Coffee

Each month, Bloom hosts a catered lunch and invites someone from our community to share a story. This month we heard from Chole Ehrke and Allison Hasch about a new era for Sunroom Coffee.

Originally founded by Annie Mae McKewen, Chloe and Allison are now taking on the baton as the new co-managers of the volunteer-run cafe. They have a vision to create a beautiful, warm space where the members of our community can gather. Because of the unique location a few hundred yards from Atascadero High School, a major emphasis of the cafe is towards students. Sunroom is open Sunday mornings as well as Monday-Thursday.

We’re grateful to share our building with Sunroom Coffee—they’re just below us on the street-front side. Many Bloom members enjoy the space when they want to mix it up from their desks upstairs.

Join us on the first Friday of each month for a catered lunch, a story from a community member, and a complimentary day-pass to work from Bloom. On Friday, January 5th we’ll be hearing from Apple Software Engineer and Bloom member, Zach Sailer.
